Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy family and I travel a lot and always visit local restaurants. fish tales has not disappointed! crab cake and alligator bites are a must try! 2 thumbs from the crew! — at fish tales new caney, Texas.
We're out of town and ate here. that was great. they were huge portions, very tasty, and the staff was so brilliant. I'd eat here again if we live close!
Hush puppy and okra were good. fish and garnel were a small bland. fries were a mixture of natural cut and fold cut, both were blande. my biggest complaint is the portion size of the food. the fish fillets are almost nuggets. the “jumbo” garnels are not jumbo. they give them a lot of fries to make for the tiny portions of fish and garnels.
I had better seafood in my life with captain D’s and long john Silver’s. I had the duo five garnels and five fish with coleslaw and a bowl of meere fruit gum. I was told by the gentleman who I think was the manager that the seafood gumbo was the best and was delicious young that was untrue, I might ate half a teaspoon and could not eat another bite. I didn't finish my fish or garnel, as both taste it like old oil. the head was the koleslawe that I was able to drop about three bites before the repulsive taste overwhelmed it. bad choice on my part will never be again. I just tried because I was used to living in the food that was always on the spot.
Been here a few times, mostly eating gumbo. Overall, the gumbo is only ok but not a good Cajun gumbo. Rue isn’t rich, not well seasoned, only little bits of sausage and chicken, and the rice tasteless. Service is slow with only one person trying to cover all the customers both at tables, telephone and take outs. I ordered a sausage but never got it, waitress never refilled ice tea. $14 for bowl of gumbo and ice tea.
