I love spicy food, Paul's Asian Affair knows how to make their spices. I have been going back for more delicious food for over 10 years to Paul's Asian Affair. The staff are great, the food is amazing and the menu is endless!
WE had a family dinner - 4 adults, 2 teenagers. The family had quite diverse tastes. The two teenagers ordered their own dishes and the 4 adults shared. We had seafood, chicken and beef dishes - one dish very spicy (as ordered). We found each dish very tasty - no blandness. The two teenagers had traditional chinese dishes (probably the same dish every time they visit) This was my first visit. I was impressed. The wine list is extensive (Paul's a wine buff) - maybe a fraction expensive but this seems to be the norm these days. We had a mixed entree - I think Paul chose that - very diverse and tasty. It's hard to catergorise the food - lots of diferent influences. This restaurant is a long standing one - We went on a Tuesday night - Luckily we booked - restaurant was nearly full - a good sign.A Pleasurable experience.
We ate IN, not take-away. Lets just say, the food is awesome, the portions enormous and the service just right. Whatever Asian style food you like, its here and gets top billing.
The best Asian food in Newcastle by a country mile. Always packed and their take away at the back is also packed. Never had a bad dish here and they've got the awards on the wall to prove it
