Maple Street Cafe - New Orleans

Cozy restaurant featuring a menu of southern-inspired Italian dishes. The prices are fair and the service is efficient. The food is tasty, would definitely return for another meal.

I found the duck to be overcooked and soggy, likely due to the sauce being poured on top of it. It lacked seasoning. However, the lamb was delicious. Unfortunately, the pasta that came with it had a strange taste that my friend wouldn't eat. The waitress was friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice, but the food was not up to par.

I cannot express enough how impressed I was with the exceptional service at this restaurant today. Despite being busy with customers, one server managed to handle the entire front room with ease. The food was delivered hot and our drinks were constantly refilled. I have no idea how he did it, but he did an amazing job. As for the food, it was outstanding. The soft shell crab dish was incredibly delicious, with its salty taste complementing the crawfish cream sauce perfectly over linguine. The eggplant cake was also exceptional. Additionally, there was a full bar with a wide selection of beer options available.

When we?re visiting back home we absolutely have to stop at maple street cafe! The soft shell crab pasta is literally heaven on a plate and the redfish was impeccable! If we could give 100 stars we would. Very homey and friendly. Will definitely make this a tradition. Thank you all so much for your great service and food.
