Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was definitely my first and last time dining at this restaurant. We arrived on time for our reservation, but were seated in a corner of the long bar, which was difficult to navigate. Although our waiter was friendly, the service was very slow. The dish I wanted was sold out, so I settled for a burger that was overcooked. My friend's dish arrived cold and we had to ask two different people for utensils and napkins before receiving only the napkins. The wings were delicious, as was my drink, but I was never asked if I wanted a refill when my glass was empty. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.
I cannot sing the praises of this place enough. You must try the steak! The fresh oysters were perfect and the cocktails are always mixed to perfection. I absolutely love this place.
This small restaurant offers excellent New Orleans style dining with a friendly and attentive wait staff. The view of the Shawangunk Mountains from the deck is great. The jambalaya with shrimp was rich and spicy, the best I've ever had. My companion's roasted trout with pilaf was moist and flavorful, and our friend's mushrooms were delicious. The homemade key lime pie we had for dessert was outstanding. The bar has a great selection of wine, beer, and creative cocktails. I can't wait to go back!
The Parish is my go-to restaurant in the New Paltz area. It has a friendly vibe and excellent food prepared with New Orleans flare, great drinks and wines, and super service.
Wait staff was super nice and professional, food was to standard but it took an hour to get our food which consisted of 2 appetizers and 2 sides. Also I’m 99% convinced their french fries were from McDonald’s. Their kitchen was backed up so i wouldn’t put it past them. Probably won’t be back
