Avra Estiatorio On 48th - New York

During our visit from Michigan, we had a meal at this restaurant. The food was amazing, but the service was what really stood out. We were particularly impressed with our server, Mike, from Romania. We would definitely return!

The food was average at best, with a mushy moussaka and unattractive plating. The restaurant was noisy, and there are much better dining options available in New York.

This restaurant always exceeds our expectations! It is our top choice for special occasions and elegant dining. The quality is consistently outstanding!

If you love delicious food, good service, and ambiance then Avra is the place to be! I love this place. I will be back.

As always, a solid dining experience overall. I find some of the items absurdly expensive (e.g., the Greek salad at $26), but the pricing is generally consistent with similar dining venues. Also, it is hard to know what things cost these days, so I tend to more tolerant. Waitstaff was really good. Good, as always, was excellent.
