Avaliação da contribuiçãoOf all of the Chipotle locations I've been to in NYC (and I have been to quite a few)... this one is definitely the best. I'll actually go out of my way to go to this location. It's never crowded, even at what are usually the busiest lunch hours. The meat and other ingredients always look and taste great, and they don't deny you if you ask for extra beans or cheese. And even after you've paid and are sitting enjoying your meal they'll come around and ask you how your meal is. You don't get service like that at most fastfood/chain type places. Definitely check it out.
This is one of my favorite Chipotle locations in the city. The staff are super friendly and chatty and the Carnitas meat here is consistently the best I 've had, never dry and crusted over. It 's awesome to people watch when you sit by the windows. I could sit there for hours watching the St. Mark 's crowd passing by. I love this location because it never gets crowded and you can always find a seat. Probably because there are so many other better /non-chain dining options and no one comes to St. Mark 's Place to eat Chipotle. No complaints from me. The easier/quicker the Chipotle experience, the better. This specific location does it right. Would definitely recommend.
Ok, it's a chain, and I am loathe to review chains...but Chipotle is just so good. That shiny tinfoil brings back such nostalgia from college days. You can't go wrong with this; you know what to expect and it never disappoints. Burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, yum yum yum. Fresh and fast and affordable. Plenty of seating at this location, usual selection of soft drinks (as well as beer! ole! .
This is my hidden gem on 8th Street. I come here just to come to grab a burrito without the hassle of finding a seat. The weekdays is very mellow. The facility is always clean and they seem to always have tea on tap when I come her after 9 pm. I like the design of the facility, it can sit a lot of people. It's bigger than it looks, just take a peak next time you are undecided about what food dine in to. The best part of this location is that you are surrounded by a plethora of dessert so there is always a place to go to if you are with that special someone and you don't want the night to end.
As much as I resist the urge to eat at chain places in the city try to support the local places, especially in the East Village)....I must say that Chipotle Mexican Grill CMG) is a special situation. Yes, it was at one time owned by the McDonalds Corporation, but the original owners kept it real, didn 't tinker with their original formula for success and eventually the company IPO 'ed and if you had invested in the IPO, you would have tripled your initial investment as of this writing). But I digress..... A very simple menu: Burritos, Tacos soft/hard shell), Burrito Bols no wrap), chips, salsa, FRESH guacamole $1.50 extra), Izze beverages and inexpensive beer....oh did I mention BEER from Bud, Corona, Negro Modelo to Magic Hat)! Best bang for the buck is the vegetarian burrito you can get all the fixings: fresh cilantro infused rice, black beans, corn salsa, fresh tomato salsas including the hot, medium and mild), sour cream just a dab please), the fajita peppers and onions and guacamole FRESH GUACAMOLE) for the low price of $7.50. For the complete list of ingredients you can choose from go here: [hidden link] . Their awesome website will show you the ingredients just like the way they display it in the resto! Add a bag of chips dusted with salt and lime), the fresh tomato salsa, and a beer and you have a complete meal for less than $13..... The burritos are HUGE, that I usually split it with my better half, or take the rest home if I 'm solo so if you take that into account, you can have a satisfying, relatively healthy meal for about $6.50! The condiments bar stocks freshly cut lemons limes great to squeeze a lime into your burrito or cup of guacamole) and three types of Tabasco sauce the hot red, chipotle smoked and the less hot, but tangy green). Best thing of all, all the ingredients in Chipotle are FRESH, no moldy looking refried beans in sight....in other words, this ain 't no Taco Bell! Love the wide variety of music they play to add to your dining experience I guess they stream it to all the Chipotle 's), from bossa nova, country, indie rock to 80s, blues and jazz... Overall Chipotle is one chain that I don 't mind visiting for their gourmet burritos, tacos, chips and beer!
