Avaliação da contribuiçãoTo go the packaging nice (except mango leti,) but eating was nothing special and I threw away most of it. paid attention to spicy where spicy was actually spicy. would try another place next time. the huh tiki masala (dry chicken, bland gravy, and overcooked rice,) garlauch naan, mango leti (difficult to drink and very avg,) and samosa. nothing was better than average. worse. the penetration bag shows other Indian restaurants and so think many are sister restaurants same owners. respect the high ratings seem misleading.
Came here for a quick lunch with a friend on a weekend. Ordered a few dishes, samosa, rice and naan bread to share, it was so good. My fave is the murg saag seems they use dark chicken meat rather than white meat so it's nice and tender. The Palak Paneer was also tasty. Service was good and the restaurant is nice and clean. Would definitely be coming back here again soon!
I give the place a 2 overall as some of the dishes miss the mark. However I 'd give the biryani dishes a 4. The chicken tikka isn 't very flavorful and dry. The naan bread came out 10 minutes after the entrees which is annoying as you are supposed to eat it with the dishes. We ordered a lamb kebab which we were told was very popular but it ended up being a minced patty like a thin hamburger fried on a flattop. Nothing kebab about that. I feel like naming it a kebab is misleading or that the server should or the menu should have mentioned it. Second time I went there my friend got a bite of food with some steel scouring thread in it. We pointed it out to the staff who apologized for it but they didn 't really seem to care. When we asked for the bill they didn 't apologize or acknowledge that we had metal bits in the food. This stuff happens but a little more acknowledgement or apology would be nicer than pretending it didn 't happen
Do Not order from Chote Nawab website. They changed (increased) my total without listing the additional charge. When I questioned the math, they stated they use a third party payment processor called 9Fold and the restaurant has nothing to do with the charge. When I spoke to 9Fold they claimed to charge a processing fee and are currently trying to list it as a charge. It is completely unacceptable to change an total without the consumers consent and state that it 's for un-named fees . How many times/people trust restaurants and establishments to do correct math and don 't add individual items to verify? This is betrayal of consumer trust and a smells like a scam. How much money has 9Fold taken from unknowing consumers and why is this restaurant allowing and accepting this?
Do not judge a book by its cover in this case a tired diner style eatery. The food, however, is outstanding. We had a great variety of lunch specials of which the eggplant in peanut sauce was a huge hit. Very tasty and spiciness can be calibrated to your level. Not a morsel left at the end, which tells you everything. Also, good value!
