Amazing dinner at best old school Italian restaurant in NYC! The host is Mario and he runs the restaurant extremely well. Very few old school places like this left in NYC.

Griffones is old time New York. It is an elegant restaurant with white line tablecloth and napkins. You are always greeted by the owner Mario who welcomes you with open arms. During your meal Mario will join you to ask how your meal was. You will often receive an after dinner drink on the house. The food is the best ITALIAN food that I’ve had in New York. The staff is professional and pays great attention to every detail of your meal. It is my favorite restaurant in New York. Katarina
