La Bergamote - New York

I've been driving to La Bergamote for years and it's very good.

Love comes to La Bergamote, but the menu changes one step down. Poulet Gastrique was disappointing-- Chicken was moist, but it was just hard. The previous Cajun Chicken is superior to FAR. Arugula salad with pears and beets was incredible. PLEASE bring Cajun Chicken back!!!

A local favorite for good reason! We've been to La Bergamote and we'll be back. The food is very good: always fresh, well prepared and reliable. The atmosphere is simple with comfortable tables in a café/pastry set-up. The service is friendly and accommodating. A KEY PLUS for La Bergamote is the QUIET. Customers can hear easily. What a simple pleasure, good food and drink and enjoy the company of friends.

Romantic dinner night, snow general all over New York, our quiet corner of a warm restaurant enjoying bistro comfort foods. Life is good. Highly recommended restaurant.

We had a great experience here the service was excellent as was the food served by a very friendly waitress so good that we went back the next day our last in NY for coffees and pastries which again were a delight.
