Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis hidden gem is a fantastic spot for a delicious lunch or dinner. Enjoy a stunning view of the trees without the hustle and bustle and overpriced menu of other restaurants. They even have a café section for those looking for a more casual or self-serve dining experience.
This restaurant, located at the Equinox gym, primarily serves juice but also offers a few hot options. The food was average. The only positive aspect is the nice view of the Rockefeller tree. It is telling that during the week between Christmas and New Year's at 7 pm, we were the only table in the restaurant. I would recommend skipping this place.
I was intrigued by the reviews mentioning the picturesque view of the tree and skating rink at Rockefeller Center. However, upon visiting, I realized that the view is only visible if you have a very tall vantage point, like a giraffe sitting at a table in front of the window! The restaurant itself is a bit hard to locate and feels more like a fancy section of a cafeteria. The menu is quite limited, but the prices are reasonable compared to other places in Manhattan. Unfortunately, the food was just average. The Lobster BLT lacked in lobster, the Asian Short Rib was lacking in flavor and was dry, and the Tuna tartare was bland, served with potato chips. The scallops were the only standout according to my husband. Overall, there are plenty of better dining options in the city, so I would recommend trying those instead of wasting your time here.
Excellent location right in Rockefeller plaza with views of the Christmas tree and rink. However not crowded and so much more reasonably priced compared to the other restaurants in that area. The server James was excellent. Food was great good and service prompt. While they do not have a kids menu, he offered a number of options they could prepare for kids ranging from breakfast items to flat breads, pasta etc. Extremely pleasurable experience. Only challenge is finding it. Go through the Equinox entrance to the third floor and turn left. Hidden Gem for NYC
Was attracted by reviews regarding the view of the tree and skating rink at Rockefeller Center. Only viewed if you're a giraffe, sitting at a table in front of the window! Restaurant itself is difficult to find, and basically a dressed-up corner of a cafeteria. Menu is limited. Prices very reasonable by Manhattan standards. However, taste is average, at best. Lobster BLT had very little lobster. Asian Short Rib had little flavor, was very tender yet dry. Tuna tartare was molded with diced mango and avocado, little seasoning served with potato chips Scallops were good according to my husband. Too many other choices in the city to waste your time here.
