Southgate Bar Restaurant - New York

Terrible eating. old wild salad and brown avocado. dirty glasses were still on the table of the previous party. more terrible service, had to ask for water and remind them of basic things. not friendly, did not greet the guests and just looked away the others. over $125 for extremely simple brunch dishes for 3 people. what a complete waste. the hotel is beautiful and I expected it better.

Inattentive and slower service, eating was nothing to write home.

The breakfast was lovely. a table through the windows was reserved to us. beautiful Christmas music played. latte and good were great. a great experience.

Service was okay and so was the food. For the prices compared to other venues in the area, the branzino and gnocchi really missed the mark. Since when are gnocchi like Totino’s pizza rolls?

The space is airy and beautiful, and the service is wonderful. Sadly, the food is not worth the prices.
