Avaliação da contribuiçãoNijo Ambiance Service: Nijo reminds me of my first teppanyaki experience as a kid. Friendly skilled chefs who did the routine grill theatrics: Tossing and cracking the egg with the spatula, the heart shaped fried rice which he makes 'beat ' and of course, the onion volcano! Our servers were so sweet and kept the drinks fresh through the meal. After verifying ID, they brought out the birthday dessert for my cousin. Fantastic. The decor is straight up classic Benihana Japanese decor from the 80s which works perfect for their theme.
Nijo is a staple here for anyone that's lived in the Fremont/Newark area. It's a fun place to go with a group. Food is pretty good, and the prices are decent. Every sushi roll I've ordered was really good. They offer karaoke on Friday and Saturday after 930. If you plan on the teppanyaki dinner, make sure to make reservations ahead of time. It gets filled up towards the end of the week pretty quick, and make sure you and your group are on time as they are pretty strict when it comes to that. You're paying for the experience and that's why I keep coming back.
This is one of my all time favorite places to dine. Great customer service, great service and the Ambience is second to none. Corona times are strange times but not here. You can still sit in the teppanyaki area as your own group. Before you would be sitting with a few couples. They cook a distance from you and bring it right over.
We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt fantastic. The meal was yummy. We loved this spot very much and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.
Great fish, nice fresh and tasty. Came in during limited dining after they opened back up. Overall good experience
