Soffritto Italian Grill - Newark

The restaurant is PERMANTLY CLOSED (which I did not know) ... so WHY is Open Table still accepting reservations for them?!

Despite having a confirmed reservation the restaurant was closed and apparently is permanently closed. We ended up having to choose another restaurant at the last minute and ended up at Vincentes, about two miles away, which was outstanding. I am definitely going back to Vincentes.

They displayed that they were open and made the reservation and I got there and they were closed. I was highly upset and this was for a special occasion.

I can't believe it is closed and I as still able to make reservations

The restaurant's doors were locked when my husband and I went there for our reservation. No sign on the door, lights off and parking lot empty which is unusual for this restaurant. This explains why when we tried calling, there was no answer. Apparently they have either gone out of business or a in the process of selling the business. Bad!
