Grosvenor Casino - Newcastle upon Tyne

We booked the Grosvenor before we attended a show at the Newcastle Arena, we have visited before pre-covid and always been impressed. It is an added bonus that you can securely leave your car as well. We were warmly welcomed as Grosvenor members, and greeted by our super friendly waitress (blonde lady) very chatty and engaging, always a nice bonus. We were treated to a free drink which was a very nice touch and we opted for the one course from the pre concert menu (they do have a choice 1/2 or 3 courses). The bar menu wasn't on which we didn't know until after we had originally chosen our meals this was a little disappointing as there was a bit more choice available. She did apologise but just as feedback would be nice to have more of an option. I ordered the burger which was very nice, well presented and decent portion. Overall service excellent but would have preferred to have the choice of either menu. Would recommend and return.

Please keep reading .... We went after reading that they offer a special pre gig offer. The staff didn’t even know if the restaurant was open on arrival. The restaurant had no idea there was a gig on so he couldn’t find the special menu. We were offered free drinks as included in the offer but not discounted meals. HOWEVER hats off the to chef because the food was amazing!! It was more like al a cart dining. Cooked to perfection, displayed beautiful and fantastic flavour! Great job and for that reason we would be happy to return for the food!

Came here with my boyfriend. The menu had a good variety of options and the deals for the courses are a bargain! (2 courses for £11.95, when the steak that was available was £14 on its own . Both starter and mains were lovely and staff were always checking to make sure we were okay :

Me and ten friends attend here for pre drinks and a meal I can say staff were amazing and friendly they went above and beyond for us it was amazing time at casino we had brilliant time I will definitely be back again amazing friendly environment we had champagne on entering casino absolutely amazing time we had thank you Grosvenor casino and all your amazing staff

Really great place here, lots of fun, great staff very friendly, great food, nice atmosphere, free coffee, free parking and very handy for a show at the Arena.
