The Cheese Truck - Newham

We recently visited The Cheese Truck at Maltby Street Market and tried their cheese and bacon grilled cheese sandwich.

My friend and I decided to try out The Cheese Truck, located in a nearby hotel, after reading a positive review online. I was looking forward to trying their sandwiches, but was disappointed to find that the menu was limited to only four options. I ended up ordering the cheese and onion sandwich, expecting to be greeted with gooey, cheesy goodness. Unfortunately, the sandwich did not live up to my expectations. The amount of cheese in the toastie was lacking, leaving some sections empty. While the sandwich was crunchy, it overall fell short of what I had hoped for from a place named The Cheese Truck. I would not recommend trying it as you may end up feeling let down.

By far the best grilled cheese sandwich! My husband and I shared one and it was incredibly tasty. This gem can be found at Maltby St market on weekends. With a wide variety of food options available, we definitely made the right decision. We will definitely make it a lunch spot the next time we are in London. The staff were friendly and busy, making it entertaining to watch them work.

Located at Maltby Street Food Market on Saturdays and Sundays this place offers excellent grilled cheese sandwiches. There is a choice of four different fillings.
