Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food at this restaurant is outstanding, packed with flavor, yet surprisingly light. Despite being classic southern comfort food, it doesn't leave you feeling weighed down. I highly recommend trying it, especially the roasted mushrooms with crispy grit cake. They are so good that I could eat them every day for a month. If you have dietary restrictions, this is a great place to dine. The gluten-free options are plentiful, and the servers are well-informed about which menu items can be modified to accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets. The service, meal experience, and atmosphere all receive top marks. Recommended dishes include the Brussels sprouts, Adult Mac and Cheese, and Roasted Wild Mushrooms over Crispy Grit Cake. Vegetarians will find plenty of options clearly labeled on the menu. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious dining experience.
The restaurant is good, but it never quite meets my expectations. Sorry for the vague review. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I have heard great things about Savannah Kitchen from my parents, so when I visited California, I was excited to finally try it for myself. After dining there twice, I can confidently say that it lives up to the hype. The oysters on the half shell were delicious and I also enjoyed two different dishes, both of which were excellent. The atmosphere at the restaurant is wonderful, with friendly and efficient staff.
Six months ago, my father and I visited New Orleans. It was my first time there, and the food was amazing. My dad was in town and about to leave, so we drove 30 minutes to a restaurant in hopes of enjoying some Southern food that would remind us of New Orleans. However, when we arrived, we were disappointed to learn that they were out of key menu items such as Cajun crawfish cakes, chili verde, and catfish. We settled for gumbo instead, but were further disappointed to find out there was only a small portion left. We ended up adding shrimp to it and also ordered calamari as appetizers, which turned out to be rubbery. When we tried to order our main courses - shrimp and grits for my boyfriend and me, and pork shoulder for my dad - we were told they were out of grits. This was frustrating, as a Southern restaurant should not be out of such essential items. Despite enjoying the pork shoulder and a chicken sandwich with truffle fries, we left the restaurant feeling disappointed with our overall experience. The service was average, the food was satisfactory, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30 for a dinner meal.
