Fig Tree - Newmarket on fergus

Newly renovated since I’d been there last improvements are wonderful. Food is always good here not overly expensive. Would highly recommend a visit.

Has lunch with a friend today. Both of us very disappointed. I had seafood chowder, whilst there was enough fish in it, it was 'watery ' totally tasteless . A glass very small) of house wine €11 Totally over priced Neither of us will be going back

We have visited the Fig Tree twice in the last few weeks, once for lunch and once for dinner. On both occasions we were very very happy with the experience. A very pleasant setting, very helpful staff, a good menu with plenty of vegetarian options and beautiful food. Slightly expensive but very difficult to get a restaurant open, midweek.

Overpriced for what you get. Seafood chowder had mostly potato and very little fish. Main course was good but no atmosphere in the place and definately not worth €46 for a bottle of wine.

We were 3 couples looking for a good time. We had such a nice night at The Fig Tree! We ate outside and the atmosphere as well as the food was great. i would highly recommend you taking the time to get to this restaurant.
