Benebene Waffle Ice Cream - Newmarket

Yesterday evening was our first visit and what a treat!! The owners are so sweet, and the food was WONDERFUL! We each had a waffle with ice cream on top, and it was heavenly. It was very carefully crafted, and unlike any other waffle I've ever had. Truly a pleasure, and I look forward to many happy returns.

Wonderful, wonderful cafe. their drinks are awesome and food even better. we go there as often as possible, and the owners are the sweetest and most pleasant people to have serve us and be around!

Came in here on a hot Summer day. I was craving for something heavy and cool. I found that the owners were very kind and thoughtful. Overall geniune and kind service and waffles! Kawartha ice cream in blackberry thunder on top makes it even better. Lovely presentation too.

I'm so sorry to hear that you did not like the waffles.At the beginning of our business, we used to serve two types of Belgian waffles, Brussels waffle Liège waffle. Brussels Waffle seems to be what you wanted, which is softer, especially in the middle part, than Liège waffle.Liège waffle is a richer, denser, sweeter, and chewier waffle. It is the most common type of waffle available in Belgium.Since Liège waffle is better fit to the Ice Cream, we decided to serve just Liège waffle in our store.Thanks for your interest in our waffles again.
