Hofbraeuhaus Newport

By busy and popular spot. Its a bit touristy, but honest food and LARGE portions. They only have 4 beers on tap, but they are good honest German style beers. Recommended destination.

Went to the Keg tapping for June (Hopfen Weizen) was interesting experience of Music, ceremony, tapping, and lots of people there for the food! The Biergarten was open too. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Was very crowded inside for the Keg tapping so show up early. lederhosen, hats and other Bavarian style fashion is encouraged

Our group of 16 enjoyed dinner on a Sunday night at Hofbrauhaus. We enjoyed the entertainment by the accordion player and the atmosphere. I loved the Brauen schnitzel with vegetables and a potato cake with applesauce. The beer cheese and ham on top of the cutlet was salty and savory. The sampler appetizer with potato cakes, Reuben balls, pretzels and fried pickle spears was a great starter. Amazing selection of beer and fun atmosphere.

Not only perfect food but also the best atmosphere. It is good place to spend time with my friends

This is a really typical german beer garden in the middle of Newport. The food tasted authentic. The beer was nice. Just remember that a large beer in this place is about the size of two pints.
