Charlie's Chili - Newport Beach

The service and the staff were amazing but the food was kind of okaish not that great but of course it's cheap so don't expect much. Overall, the ambience is good.Food: 3/5

Charlie 's Chili in Newport Beach, where their claim to, Possibly have the best chili omelet in the world, is written right on the wall outside. It 's the perfect spot to sit outside and enjoy the amazing SoCal weather while enjoying anything on their extensive menu that is sure to make your day bright! This local favorite is a classic Newport destination if you want great food, friendly service, and an amazing view of the pier and ocean!

Nikki server was absolutely awesome and had fun with us while talking about the menu and drinks. The food was, really good. The chili and cornbread meal with salad was perfect! The turkey sandwich was epic flavor overall. And the fish and chips with tarter was soo good!!! And the char on the burger patty was one the best flavors. I will come here next time I’m in the area.

Clam chowder was really good. I would definitely return for more chowder. I didn't like the garlic toast.

Honestly I wasn't impressed with the food.It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Had the country fried steak and eggs. The steak was obviously purchased prebreaded and dropped into the deep fryer. The gravy was made from powdered mix. The Biscuit was as hard as a rock. Eggs were goodFood: 3/5
