Avaliação da contribuiçãoBon is the absolute best instructor!! I was under a deadline and he fit me into his schedule quickly. He knew exactly what I needed and taught, encourage and praised me for my efforts. I couldn't have done it without him. Thank you so much!!!
Bon has all the patience to explain every single topic about serve safe and also he makes the class fun. I would recommend this servesafe proctor to everyone in the restaurant industry.
Bon was an amazing teacher, and I’m not just saying that because he helped me to pass the test on the first try. I found that his class was so comprehensive like the best teachers, he did not only concern himself with whether I had memorized the material, but was much more invested in helping me to *understand* the concepts. He correctly predicted that this understanding is what helps someone to obtain certification and of course understand how to handle food safely. As someone with no food service experience, this was incredibly helpful and gave me the confidence I needed to tackle the test questions. In addition, he is non judgmental and humorous so the class was very enjoyable. Five stars!
Awesome experience, food and people such a great time! We were there for a party (and this place is an amazing idea for a party location an amazing and ideal introduction to sushi making, teaching you step by step how to make rice inside and rice outside rolls and providing all the tools and food to make vegetarian and tuna filled rolls. Comfortable atmosphere, time to ask questions, and high quality food (plus so much fun . Our rolls came out great thanks to the help of Josephine and Bon, both really great instructors. Hope to come back again and would recommend it for a couple's night out or a great spot for a party (and BYOB which helps a lot!
My girlfriend and I recently attended one of their sushi making classes where we had a really nice time. I have a significant shellfish allergy and everything was appropriately set up so that there would be no cross contamination. There were 7 couples with us that evening and every group took advantage of the BYOB option which certainly made for a more relaxed crowd. Bon, your host, does quick introductions and then proceeds with his hands on demonstration on how to make California rolls. You get about 18 pieces worth of sushi that you make on your own and most people brought back leftovers with them. I read other reviews complaining about the temperature, their personal work space, and the quality of the sushi itself. No one in our group had any of these problems but I won't speak to another's experience. I have attended multiple other types of bartending/cooking classes with this really no different then any of them. All in all, it was a great night for us. If I could offer feedback, I would recommend a small history lesson on sushi itself and more hands on assistance with students while they try and roll out their own sushi product. Otherwise, it was a fun evening and I would recommend it for other sushi lovers.
