My sister I were staying locally with friends wanted to take them to dinner. They recommended this place I'm very glad they did. After the best green salad I've had in a while we had the venison (reh rucken) with all the...trimmings spätzle, cherries, red current jelly mushroom gravy. Meat was beautifully cooked, tender plentiful. By the time we'd eaten it all I could hardly move ! Highly recommended not expensive for what it was. Dessert was good too but I couldn't do it justice. Excellent, efficient staff too. Will definitely be back.

We ate in the restaurant which has a balcony with spectacular view. We ordered mixed cold cut platter and meatloaf finished off with a black forest gateau. The food was very good and well presented. Service was excellent. We drop some Euro and the lady...help to return to us before we can drive away. Very personal service as well.

We happened on this place during touring. We arrived at and they said they had a limited menu. The waitress came over and went through all the items on the menu and translated them into English for us, even though there were quite a...few customers. i had meatloaf on brown bread and it was gorgeous. As for the cakes, well there was a lovely selection and they all looked so good.

We had lunch here when we came across this restaurant/pension by chance while travelling to Titisee, and were very glad we did. It's in a beautiful spot, with great views from the restaurant, across mountains and forest. Initially we only wanted a snack, but were...told the toasties were not available at lunchtime that was a bit annoying, but as we couldn't face trying to finds somewhere else, we ordered a main meal each. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the trout and my husband had a beef dish which as unbelievably tender. Service was very friendly and prompt. Cakes looked wonderful but we didn't try them. I intend returning one day.

We had a veeeeeery nice dinner with our friends in the room, perfect wine and nice food. Staff made everything so easy for us. Very recomendable.
