Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhen it comes to Pepper beef, this is absolutely the best in Stavanger. No one's not even close, and I almost all tried. Maybe just too expensive for dinner.
The place was cozy, especially with the chinese instrumental music there. However, the food was not as good as the place itself. I tried the sweet and sour shrimp and the deep fried pork with pepper sauce for the main course. As for the appetizer, I only tried the peking soup. The peking soup tasted too much rice vinegar and cooking wine. The smell of the shrimp was quite dominant which is not ok for me. There was no broth taste at all. The deep fried pork was really good nevertheless. It was soft, tender, and crunchy. On the other hand, the pepper sauce was bland, a bit tasteless, and too viscous. The fried shrimp was really good though. The sauce was a bit too sweet, but it was not dominant at all, which is acceptable. Considering the price for the portion of each dish and the market competition with other chinese food restaurant nearby, this is higher than other competitors. In the end, business is business. So the food taste needs to be improved a lot to compete with other restaurants.
Its terrible, absoulutely tasteless boring food, not the worst in stavanger (mikado gets that award) but to call this asian cuisine should be a crime.
Basic Chinese restaurant in Stavanger, cheap lunch option till late.
Very disappointed! Overcooked noodles without any flavor. We ordered two different portion -both very tasteless and overcooked. It's not worth money that we spent!!
