This place is so great! great set-up inside and outside! beer are great and eat is amazing. they will not be disappointed.

I tried this restaurant on the basis of consulting the staff. it is a beautiful building and landscape. from the moment I went, I felt like a ballerina in a biker bar. so many people stared at me that it made me uncomfortable. the atmosphere was that of the pretentious Artsy crowd. they talk about how lgbtq-friendly they are- are equally friendly for all their customers, no matter how their execution. that should not even be a problem, its restaurant, not a nightclub. I've never been here, so I wasn't aware that the process of ordering her meal on the tablet. the workers seemed to explain nothing to me. eating was in order, but much too expensive. I took my food. the whole experience was simply unpleasant and uncomfortable and it was not worth wasting the money I work hard to earn.

Large eating and beautiful modern space! very child-friendly and pet-friendly with a lot of outdoor terrace and rungs area. interior is beautiful and open for, really good for taking a larger group. Live music in summer is always a fun option! I love especially the Friday fish special and my children love the mac n cheese. in any case one of our Go-to-Platz in the city!

Used to love Destihl but my last visit was my last until they start serving customers again. A lot of places have gone to the wait on yourself type of service but still suggest an 18-20% tip. I’m done with it. When I was there they had plenty of people to wait on customers but I had to go to the counter to wait on myself. They weren’t even busy. We asked for lemons for our beers and they actually told us to go to the kitchen counter and ask them. The guy who told us must have realized how terrible it sounded because he offered to get them for us. Appreciated it but the initial response should have never been to tell us to go get it ourselves. Plenty of places still offering great service where I feel appreciated. Haven’t been many places in Bloomington Normal throughout Covid so maybe this is how it is now. It’s not for me. If they didn’t ask for the big tip while you wait on yourself it might not be so bad. Still, I can wait on myself at home.

Great place! Very welcoming and open space. Family friendly place and the staff was very cheerful.I sat near the bar, on one of the high top tables. Their food ordering process is self serving. You order food at a kiosk and then pick up your food. That was a fun and quick way to do that.Their cheese curds were awesome! Seemed home made. Yes we were far from Wisconsin, but these chees curds were pretty awesome and can definitely compete!I believe their products are available at most stores like Jewel Osco.
