Avaliação da contribuiçãoI live in this area and have eaten at this restaurant many times. It used to be good, but it has really declined. We placed our order, only to find out that they didn’t have half of what we wanted. I understand there are food shortages, but the food we received was disappointing. The chicken sandwiches were tough and tasted overcooked, with the bun being the only redeeming quality. We also ordered a chicken bowl, which was meager and not worth the $8 price tag. I have decided not to return. I had hoped to give them another chance, but things haven’t improved at all. If you do decide to visit, especially for drive-thru or takeout, make sure to double-check your order, as they often forget to include items in the bag.
I've lost faith in KFC over the years, but I stopped by this location because Hardee's lobby was closed and I was driving a semi. To my surprise, the food was excellent! It reminded me of the old KFC. They should definitely send a great team from here to train other locations!
Unfortunately, the donut itself was quite underwhelming. I expected it to be reminiscent of a Krispy Kreme donut, but it turned out to be bland and flavorless. While it was dripping in glaze (which was acceptable), a sweeter bread would have elevated the experience. On a positive note, the chicken tender inside was, as always, delicious—exactly what you’d expect from KFC. When I took the sandwich out of the box and placed it on the table, I noticed glaze on the bottom of the parchment paper, which created a huge mess. I ended up getting glaze all over my hands, phone case, table, shirt—pretty much everywhere. It wasn’t a pleasant experience to eat. I appreciate the concept behind the chicken donut burger, but the execution and presentation left a lot to be desired. My hunt for the perfect donut burger will continue. As for the service, I’ve heard complaints about slow service at this location in previous reviews. In my case, my meal came out in under five minutes, but others were waiting over 20 minutes due to poor management. Some staff members seemed idle while two employees were working incredibly hard. Despite everything, I still love KFC; though no matter where you go, the service tends to be just average. I’m sure the Colonel wouldn’t be pleased about that—may he rest in peace.
As a prime example, I just went through the drive-thru because she requested four original recipe drumsticks. When we received the order, she immediately expressed that it didn’t look like the original recipe. I went back inside to address the issue, but they refused to replace it. Keep in mind, this KFC is where she first tried KFC and where she usually gets her meals. She always orders the original recipe drumsticks, wedges (before they were discontinued), and a medium sweet tea—typically about twice a month for nearly seven years. So when she tells me that something doesn’t look or taste right, I trust her judgment. As for the service, last spring a cashier informed me that it was cheaper to order a combo and customize it to just include drumsticks. However, a few months later, a supervisor told me that I could no longer customize the combo that way and would need to pay for the drumsticks individually. At other KFC locations, I have been able to customize my orders without any problems. If you're looking for good KFC, I would recommend going anywhere else but this location.
