And, it turns out they always have deals on food, making this a really great value place to eat at any time.
Had a meal Sunday evening before going to The Courthouse for a concert. Should have saved our money and had dinner at home. If you're after burgers, ribs , chips and lots of fried food then menu should suit. Cod gougons were mostly batter. Side salad was just leaves and thin slices of onion. We mentioned this to waitress but she just said sorry. Why are so many pubs and restaurants in Bangor serving these boring meals which dont come cheap either.
Just wandered in off the street and we’re lucky enough to get a table upstairs with a view looking out over the street below. Atmosphere was cosy, warm and staff friendly. We settled for the set Sunday roast menu and food was well presented with good size portions.
Went with a friend for some food. I got the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection along with the dirty tater tots. Also had the deep fried brie to start which again was out of this world. Top marks to the chefs.
Sad to say that weren't welcome at the Rabbit Rooms. 6 of us called in for a drink before going for dinner and we were told the only free table was reserved for the singer at 1830. It was only 1745 and we only wanted one drink before our dinner reservation at 1830 but to no avail. £30+ went into someone's else's till. We'll not trouble the Rabbit Rooms staff again
