Star And Garter - North Kesteven

We called in for a drink and something to eat while staying in the area. This is a typical village/country pub and we where made to feel very welcome. The food we ordered was cooked fresh to order and all members of our group enjoyed the food.

Lovely welcoming pub, had Sunday lunch was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Staff very friendly m, had a lovely afternoon.

Myself and my partner have visited on 2 occasions for a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed food was tasty and was always enough left as it is a grab it yourself kinda thing! Would of given 5 stars if the decor was updated a bit more and the gentleman behind the bar was a bit less intimidating

Well, it was OK but the price was very good. Had the roast ham which was sensational, though the chips were soggy and looked as though they'd been cooked in oil re used many times. Not nearly the standard we've seen at the Sunday and Wednesday carveries. Sorry, but there we are.
