Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe just had a wonderful Christmas lunch at Roots. The soup and side dish were both delicious, and the mint cakes were incredible. Despite the busyness of the holiday season, the service was excellent. This was the best lunch we've ever had.
Always love going there on my bike, solo or with friends. Upon a recent visit we were greeted like we had the Black Death. Ordered where to sit and reprimanded when we sat within a metre of each other. I was also told off for...venturing the wrong way to get some sauce. Be careful, people might taken offence and not come back. We are the ones doing you a favour...
I went for breakfast with my friend to be greeted by impatient staff who barked orders at us about where to stand and where to sit. The place was cold, dark and echoes. Not good when staff literally shout. The food was expensive for what...it was. The bread barm was cheap and nasty. With so many lovely cafes in the area, this was our first and last visit.
Just been in and had one of the best full breakfasts ever. The service was great. The only problem (and it is a deal breaker) is that the place was freezing with no heat on.We will definitely go back but not until summer.
Immy recommended a lovely Hiumi-Filo dish along with a refreshing salad and a delicious cup of coffee. I can't wait to come back and try the cake. The staff was friendly and Immy made us feel very welcome. This restaurant may not be fancy, but their food is honestly fresh and tasty.
