Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy experience at this restaurant in late September was overall okay, but the service was slow. I decided to give it another try a week later, only to wait 50 minutes for a side salad and pasta dish. Unfortunately, both visits ended with receiving a £100 parking fine for not registering my vehicle, which was not communicated by staff or signage. This lack of communication is unacceptable, and it has resulted in locals avoiding the venue. I now have two fines amounting to £200, which I am currently appealing. I have no intention of visiting this restaurant again, as the hassle and additional costs are not worth it.
The restaurant offers a variety of fresh dishes in a charming setting. There is a nice selection to choose from, and they are flexible in turning a starter into a main course.
Attended here for a 3 day business conference. Suzie looked after us for conference activities and coordinated everything.. She was fantastic and corrected any small logistical challenges that are to be expected with a large group event with a smile and efficiency. The other teams including bar staff were friendly and attentive and again, accommodating of a lively (sometimes noisy) event with grace and flair. The venue is f a high standard and great facilities. Highly recommend the entire experience.
We were staying at the hotel and ate here due to limited other options, however service was appalling and food was mediocre at best.
Stayed at hotel and had a bar lunch at the hotel. Brie balsamic chibatta. Excellent taste. Reasonable value for money in this environment. Atmosphere totally let down by staff 1). Staff behind bar too busy setting up to serve customers-I stood at bar for over 5 minutes whilst staff tended to glasses etc. 2). Staff transferring items from restaurant to kitchen through bar area squeezing Behring guests sitting in lounge. 3). Noise in setting up. This could have been much more enjoyable an experience if staff were appropriately trained in respecting guests and their environment.
