Avaliação da contribuiçãoNot situated in the best of places but probably one of the greatest first impressions of Indian Cuisine I could ask for. Although I'm not a fan of such strong spices, I can see why this store has so many regulars going back consistently. Not only is their biriyani delicious and worth it at the price point, their mutton rolls are amazing as well. If you're trying Indian food for the first time, I would definitely check this place out!
Love this place! Been coming here for years and they have NEVER disappointed me!Biryani — chicken or mutton; mild or spicy, all good. The spiciness is just up my alley, so good! Biryani always comes with a Tandoori chicken and an egg, which is amazing for $8.Samosas here are 3 for $1 and sometimes they sell out... sadness. Owners here are super friendly, makes jokes and are super quick in service. 5/5 — Thanks for being a gem!
My parents had bought a couple mutton rolls and Samosas from there and as I bit into one of them I found a half broken piece of a razor blade in the mutton roll!! I literally could have died no joke!! This place is an absolute joke and I honestly don’t recommend anyone eating there until that place closes up shop and re-evaluates there whole game plan!! Because taking lives with a razor blade in a mutton roll isn’t the way to go!! Just saying!!I can assure you though my self and everyone I know will never go there again!!
Reading the revIews led my husband and myself to this place. We thought maybe most of the reviews were from friends and family of the owner because they seemed all good. They said authentic, reasonably priced, delIcious. And they were correct. The food smells and looks so good here, the same as other places. But After eating elsewhere I'd give other places a less than one and hope it's not what the meal is supposed to taste like and not give it a review because I'd have give it a less than one. So imagine our surprise. We had the dinner for 2. A variety of chicken including tandoori. I don't like it usually but I liked this. At last it was moist, delicious and flavourful. My husband bought a number other deep fried I items. I sampled. They were good. Which is the only negative about this place. We had a huge language barrier. So I am not entirely sure what I ordered. I pointed to the menu or food in the hot table. The woman behind the counter really ttried to help us and explain what foods go together and help us order. I always ask myself, would I go bAck. The answer is yes, This will be one of our go to places for take out.
In a few of my reviews, I have said You can find better Sri Lankan food elsewhere welp Yelp, IT 'S RIGHT HERE!!!! When you enter a teeny tiny hole in the wall joint, you 're likely not expecting much but when it 's packed with actual Tamil people AND they 're regulars, you know it 's authentic. This is not a formal sit down restaurant. This is one of those take out a tray of food to feed your family of 6 kinds of places. We like to get the Kothu Roti, Briyani, some fish cutlet and mutton rolls. If we 're taking it to a friend 's place, we 'll also get a curry or two as well. Super great deal when it comes to portion size to price. Because they are super authentic, there is usually a language barrier with the cashier and the menu is scribbled on cardboard but they try very hard to be helpful and are super nice. In terms of food, they are not afraid of flavour and spice just the way Sri Lankan food should be!
