I visited for the first time on a Saturday night after finding out Tilt had closed down. Cute place, wasn’t too full of people, and the English bartender was very friendly and quick to help. He also gave me some good recommendations for games to try which was much appreciated. Can’t wait to come back and try The Simpsons game!
My kind of jam. Friendly service and old school arcade games. Oh yeah, beer too. I don't know if I was having an off night, but the beer tasted off the night I went... Maybe it was me or the lines weren't cleaned. So I can't blame anyone. But I shall be back!
Been here a few times over the years. I have always had a great time each time. The service has a outstanding and the food is anywhere from pretty good to amazing. I really liked the pirogies last time I went, highly recommend.
Zed 80 is a classic venue located on the Danforth, and considering its $5 entrance fee, it offers a great value. The space itself is quite pleasant and well-maintained. However, the experience can vary depending on the time you visit. I would advise avoiding peak hours when they also allow kids, as it tends to get chaotic and crowded. One thing to note is that they don't seem to cap the number of visitors, which can contribute to the busyness. The venue has a single level, so it might feel a bit tight when it's crowded. Nevertheless, if you happen to visit when it's not too crowded, it provides a really enjoyable experience. If you're in the Danforth area, I highly recommend checking it out!
