Avaliação da contribuiçãoFood and service are average. Nice family run business.
This place is going down hill fast. We have to ask them to heat COLD soup every time. No sauce on the food. Chicken tasted old Waitress had no other tables and we had to flag her down for anything we needed. The quality of the food the last few times has been awful. Shrimp so small you can barely tell what they are. And the owners children should not be bothering the customers. Won’t be going back to a place I have loved for years. Very sad
Ordered Doordash delivery. Dasher was good , no worries. However, food received was plain awful. The Ma La string beans use to be good tasting, long, whole string beans, now they're cut up looking like green beans, over cooked soggy, over sauced, lack of spice and not good flavor. Ate a couple pieces and was very disappointed in the lack of quality. Almost as if it was leftover from a lunch buffet that they revived for dinner to save on food cost! Definitely not fresh looking or tasting! Went in trash. The shrimp pork lomein as well as the pork lomein were lifeless. Soggy, over sauced, no spring and no firmness to the noodles. Another recycle after lunch leftovers? So much sauce, so dark, yet flavorless. All I could taste was the overbearing sauce! Hardly any shrimp to my granddaughter's meal. She loves shrimp (it was small, flavorless and lacking in her meal) lomein but couldn't eat this from Mark Pi's. Both lomein meals, in the trash. I refuse to eat things that tastes terrible, no matter how much I've spent. It's not worth having an upset stomach. Quality went down, yet prices went up. This use to be a decent place to have chinese-American food. No longer. What a disappointment. Doordash food order totaled $57.30 (not including tip and fees), for 2 lomeins, string beans and an egg drop soup! Worth it if it was delicious. It was clearly NOT!!! In the trash where it belongs. Granddaughter ate about half of the egg drop soup, to be polite, (few bites of her lomein and didn't want it anymore either) and said she didn't want the rest of her soup, and if I could make some of my homemade egg drop soup for her instead. Sort of defeats the purpose of ordering take out, lol. She has to have dinner, so I ended up preparing a delicious homemade Japanese-Hawaiian meal for her, which she happily ate all of. Mark Pis take out order went to the garbage. They need to remember to take more pride in their cooking like they have in years past. Profit should not take over quality! Do they have different cooks??? Bad cooks bring bad meals, which brings bad taste to their customers. The inconsistency is unsatisfactory. Bring back the old quality values! We will never ordering take out here again. Will no longer dine in either. No more disappointments and waste of money. The lack of quality is not worth it. Our palates deserve better and no one should settle eating something just because of the cost. I'll go to Columbus for good, authentically prepared Asian food. Or better yet, cook at home! Hope your experience will be a good one, at least better than my own. Bon appetit and Godspeed everyone.
As far as I know, this is the only dine-in Mark Pi 's in Ohio, all the rest are Express They did change their menu just a tad and don 't serve in the big family style bowls anymore, but you still get large servings and most of the time I 've gotta get a take-home box. Always have eaten in and never ordered carryout since we don 't live in town. Overall it 's always been a pleasant experience.
Normally when I order sesame chicken or general tso chicken it has a crispy sometimes crunchy texture this chicken was soggy and soft and the fried rice was not all that great vegetables lacked flavor and quantity honestly after I took the photos I threw the rest of the food away! It was a waste of my money
