Avaliação da contribuiçãoI have been taking a family member in a few times as they recover from illness. When we were paying for items at the till, the staff greeted a lady who came in and spoke to her respectfully even smiling. When they turned to my family member, although they are a regular customer, there were no kind words or a smile. I was not happy to see a family member treated with indifference. There seems to be a lack of good customer service in a rothbury. Treat your customers well and they will happily return.
Called in to pick up some local produce, I was really looking forward to trying the local cheeses. unfortunately we were greeted by an extremely unfriendly, miserable member of staff who demanded we sanitise our hands at the door. I tried to explain I had my own and had just done this before entering the store. The women refused to listen to me and proceeded to talk over the top of me. Working in retail management myself I find it shocking that a member of staff would treat customers in such a disrespectful way. I appreciate Covid guidelines must be followed but a bit of common sense would not go a miss. We left the store without purchasing anything due to this women’s bad attitude, given the tough trading climate that most retailers are facing I’m not sure how this women can justify loosing sales due to bad customer service, she obviously doesn’t care about the business she works for. Very disappointing and will not be returning.
Unless you like eating in a pub, there is not a lot of choice of cafes in Rothbury. The seating area in Tully’s deli is very small just four basic tables but if you can get one don’t hesitate to make it yours. While you can get a sandwich, the best option may be to go for one of their sharing platters which they will tailor to your particular taste likes. Very good quality food, reasonable prices and a friendly service. If we lived nearby this would be one of our regular haunts. Another local, independent trader that is trying to do something different. Give them your business.
This restaurant may look like a typical deli at first glance, but it offers so much more! The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they genuinely seem to care about their customers. When we mentioned that we wanted a lunch without bread, a kind lady offered to let us choose items from their deli selection to create a customized meal for us. The food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for. It's a fantastic concept to sell deli items for takeaway and also offer them as meals for dining in. If you find yourself in Rothbury, be sure not to miss out on Tullys and the amazing women who run it.
Every time I visit Tully's deli, I hope to have a positive experience but unfortunately that never happens. The selection of local and craft cheeses is excellent, along with other quality food items. However, the staff are generally unhelpful, unhappy, and unresponsive. Today was no different, and I felt unvalued. After speaking to a staff member at a nearby store, I realized that others had similar experiences at Tully's. I believe Tully's could be a great shop with better customer service. Compared to the hardware store and florist nearby, Tully's falls short in terms of knowledgeable and friendly staff. I hope Tully's takes action to improve, whether through better leadership, staff training, or a different approach, as the current situation is not satisfactory.
