Dickey's Barbecue Pit Coming Soon

Today marked the grand opening of this restaurant. Despite it being their first day, everything went quite smoothly. The service was excellent, the food was delectable, and the portion sizes were just right. The interior offered ample space for families or small groups to dine in comfortably. Although they encountered a problem with their card system, the manager assured us to take our time, enjoy our meal, and they would fix it. By the time we finished our meal, the issue had been resolved. Norwich definitely needed a place like this.

I 'm not a huge fan of the setup, and the portions are smaller than I 'd prefer. But overall the food was good, I highly recommend the creamed spinach. And the sauce marked SW was great (not sure what that meant) Definitely try it out! Great addition to Norwich

I visited the restaurant on its opening day and was impressed by the good, fresh, and hot food. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

I visited Dickey's for lunch today and had a good overall experience. I ordered a Pit Dip sandwich, green beans, coleslaw, and a drink, which came to $20.55. The staff was very friendly, greeting me when I entered and thanking me again after I received my order. The food was tasty, although the brisket on the sandwich was a bit tough for my liking. The three sauce options (original, sweet, and spicy) were all good, with the spicy being my favorite. Some may find the prices a bit high, but I found them to be in line with other similar restaurants and appreciated that it wasn't just another diner or pizza place.

Disappointing. The bbq was mediocre, didn't have special flavor, nothing to brag about. The portions were small, plan on leaving hungry. I ordered the double meat platter and everything was weighed out. It came with two sides and even the sides were small. The mac and cheese was just plain. The price for the portion of food just isn't worth going here.
