Cafe Rouge Norwich Chapelfield

Service very slow, food was meagre. My watercress garnish to make the poulet and frits look attractive was dead and withered, better not to have bothered.

We were alll very disappointed . Table had not been reserved as requested. Service was poor. We were told there was a long delay for orders despite the fact we had booked. Food quality was poor as was service. Value for money port. Will not be returning to cafe rouge Norwich. Waitress not very helpful. There are lots of other venues in Norwich that are significantly better. Janet hood

Dined as a pre-theatre dinner, food good although it took quite a long time as we were in a bit of a rush as attending theatre

I love the Cafe Rouge menu and was surprised that on a Saturday night there were so few people using the restaurant. Four of us were there to celebrate the birthday of one of us, and we took advantage of the birthday voucher offer. The food was very good as usual. The only problem I found that was despite so few people being in the restaurant, service was slow – something I find annoying. Our waitress was very pleasant and did not make any mistakes with our orders, but the long waits became tiresome.

Family birthday, service good waitress worked hard. 3 persons ordered the goat cheese tart which unfortunately we found dry and believe it to have been either kept warm for a long period or heated in a microwave the tart had very little taste.
