Avaliação da contribuiçãoI just have to say that it's outrageous to pay £5.80 for a regular hot chocolate that was overly rich and sweet, to the point where it couldn't even be enjoyed. The price is completely unreasonable - I could easily buy a pint of milk and a whole tub of hot chocolate for less than that. Absolutely disgusting.
Usually never bother leaving reviews especially negative ones however staff were making fun of my order.. weird at least do it so i don’t hear, and took 15 minutes to make my drink anyway without it even being busy
I sat outside on a beautiful sunny day, grateful for the peaceful atmosphere without any street performers or loud people nearby. It was a relaxing spot in the sun and nice to be able to dine outdoors. The Covid restrictions seemed a bit silly and unnecessary, but I followed along with the odd rules they had in place. The food and drinks were enjoyable, and it was even better that they were half price that day!
I rarely use Starbucks because of their lack of contributions to UK tax. However when visiting very recently, I saw a member of staff...possibly a manager go outside and bully a perfectly decent busker to move away from one of the Cities main busking spots. Shame on them, never again and will be spreading the word. The coffee is overpriced and the venue grubby too!
As I was setting up to busk on the street outside the shop, at a popular busking spot used by musicians for years, one of the employees saw fit to come out and very rudely and angrily snap at me to move on and stop playing. Right after lockdown, as many people are hurting for music, and many musicians are hoping to get out and start earning a living again, this strikes me as being a terrible way to treat the people of the city. Norwich is a city of music and culture, not a place where corporate coffee chains can bully performers and entertainers.
