They deliver bland and boring food at astronomical prices.Pork Vieja Rice Bowl was completely devoid of flavor and texture for an insane $16. Avoid this place. I wish Sparkman’s Wharf would find at least a mediocre restaurant to take its place.
This restaurant is located at the entrance of the Sparkman Wharf. I ordered the Guava Pepper Burger and the flavor explosion was amazing! The guava, cheese and pepper completed each other well. It was so great that my friends tried my burger and decided to go and order their own. Would definitely return to try the other options available.
So here's the thing about this place... you have a mofongo bowl on your menu but there's no mofongo in it... what in tarnation is that? Why in the world are there SWEET PLANTAINS in my MOFONGO bowl? I was so disappointed when I got my bowl. I was excited for some delicious mofongo... but nope. Nada. Nothing. It's a shame because all of the other flavors were solid but that one menu fubar really screwed the pooch in that meal. And those flavors would all go really good with real mofongo. Just a total bummer.
I ordered mofongo bowl and I was given ropa veja. Same happened to my partner in two separate transactions. It was okay. I believe they ran out or didn’t have mofongo bowl and hoped we’d be naive enough to not know the difference. Very sketchy
