Plough Inn - Oadby and Wigston

On the tripadvisor website, where it appears as an hotel and whose sticker is displayed on the door; on its own website; and on a large notice outside this glorified pub offers midday meals. In fact it does not, and the lady behind the bar expressed surprise that we should think it did. Of course, there is no reason that it should: but every reason why it should not offer services it apparently has no intention of providing. Profoundly unimpressive.

We stayed one night and had Sunday Lunch. Accommodation was average the rooms are very tired although very clean. Sunday lunch was plentiful and quite enjoyable.

Great pub lots of drunk people throwing up everywhere giving it a nice smell to the atmosphere, would definitely recommend because the bartender spits in the drink giving it a nice kick to the drink Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Great pub family friendly, pool Table with good competition, juke box new style, great beer garden, cherry on top is, good clean rooms, Only neg are small tv's But there's kettle shower and hot chocs an biscuits in room on arrival Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 3
