If you love good food a casual and classy atmosphere and fantastic live jazz on the weekends, the Eastgate Cafe is made for you. Located in Chicago's historic Oak Park, this basement Bistro is a hidden gem that will always satisfy and often amaze. You must go there! Sorry folks. The delightful Eastgate and it's monumental jazz jam are now closed. The owners are moving out of state and the future of the venue is unknown.

Food and people who run the place are amazing. The second I walked in I was greeted, seated and offered some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Love this place and definitely coming back for seconds

Lovely cosy place with yummy food and great service. I love the atmosphere here and the timeless feel of place. Some good books to read. The outdoor patio is really beautiful and they have jazz in evening over weekends

My partner and I wanted to try more local places and found this place nearby. Atmosphere when I came in for pickup was outstanding. Food was incredible and super fresh.
