Onsen Sushi - Oakdale

As a foodie who frequent NYC for sushi, I can genuinely say that this place has one of the freshest fish. The price is also very good for the food and service you get. We got the toro carpaccio (highly recommend), salmon tortilla (also really delicious) and for entree we got the salmon Don, rainbow Naruto and crazy salmon. Everything was delicious.

If there was a 0 I would give it. 2.5 hours asked multiple times for drinks, napkins etc. Left $10.00 tip and they chased us to put a tip. Will never give my money to this place ever again!!!

The food was really good! Actually might be the best tempura I’ve had. The batter is perfectly fried and light with the shrimp/vegetables being moist/tender. The bento boxes are extremely filling. Will come back with friends to try their sushi! But regardless of the food I’d give them 5 stars just for their hospitality and service. Super kind to our table but also greeting every new customer with a genuine smile. Makes you feel like you’re coming back to a restaurant that you’ve already been going to for years! ?

Delicious! The sushi was some of the best we have had on Long Island. Very friendly service. This place is a must!
