Gasthof Zum Stern - Oberammergau

We went here twice during our visit to Oberammergau and both times had excellent food. I had the Schnitzel one night followed by the veal the next...both well served and both a good size. My wife, who is a vegetarian also had a reasonable choice both times. Prices are reasonable, the beer fabulous, try the one in the stein. Service was also good, No complaints.

Start with a weissbeer that was just perfect after a motorbike day. The typical pork was served crispy and juicy. The dessert was just outstanding.

Plats typiquement bavarois, excellent et très copieux. Service souriant et rapide. Vins au verre et bière excellents .
