Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis was our third time ordering from Johnny's since moving to the area. I had been raving to my friend Will about their pizza, mentioning that they use New York water in their dough. Usually, we order plain cheese or meatball and mushroom pizzas for ourselves. This time, we decided to accommodate Will's preference and ordered an 18-inch pepperoni and mushroom pizza, cooked well done and without oregano (as they tend to put too much on). When I called to place the order, the person on the phone didn't even identify the restaurant, just said hello. I made sure to confirm the order details to prevent any mistakes. However, when Will picked up the pizza and brought it home, we realized it had sausage instead of mushroom and was not cooked well done. We decided to heat it in the oven for an extra five minutes. I called the restaurant and spoke to either the owner or his son, who apologized for the mistake but did not offer to replace the pizza. We were disappointed and embarrassed, as we had previously praised Johnny's pizza to our friends. We may have to go back to our old favorite pizza place in town. Overall, this experience was a letdown compared to our previous positive experiences with Johnny's.
Pizza is amazing. The service was prompt for takeout. We had dinner and spent between $10–20 per person. The food was top-notch, as was the service. The atmosphere was great as well, with a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Cheese Pizza.
This was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This restaurant is still a hidden gem! Make sure to visit Christina's Subfloor next door to discover this amazing place. Oh my god! Their pizza is the closest thing to NYC pizza and hands down the best in town. The place may be a bit small, but with pizza this amazing, who cares? The staff are all like family at Christina's Subs and they are all kind and friendly. The prices are also great compared to other places in the city.
Last night, I had the worst food ever at this restaurant. The quality has been declining recently, but the meatball sub I ordered was absolutely terrible. It seemed like the whole container of pepper was dumped into it. After just three bites, I couldn't continue eating. I have been a fan of this place for the past four years, but now I am completely done. It's disappointing. The service was for delivery and the meal was for dinner. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
