Avaliação da contribuiçãoI come down from Texas to get me a loaded pepperjack Gyro and add shrimp. Homemade Falafel is also a must when we come to Ocean Springs. Bathrooms always clean and staff is friendly. My hubby is originally from MS so I’m so glad we can try some delicious Greek inspired dishes with a unique twist. I only order every time these two items and because they are so good I have not tried anything else but sure it’s delicious too. Their sauces and falafel are from scratch so definitely if you are in MS you should give them a try.Vegetarian options: Falafel from scratch is always good and they also have salads.Kid-friendliness: Color sheet and live music keeps kiddos busy.
I recently revisited Glory Bound Gyro Co. in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, hoping to relive the fantastic dining experience I had a few years ago. Sadly, my recent visit left me feeling mildly disappointed. While the location remains excellent and the service provided by waitress Jackie was commendable, the food and menu options fell short of my expectations.Let's start with the food. While it was by no means terrible, it was merely average. The flavors lacked the same wow factor I remembered from my previous visit. The once outstanding dishes seemed to have lost their luster. It's disheartening when a place you once loved fails to deliver the same level of quality. One particular issue I encountered was with the fries. They were served lukewarm, which was a letdown. Warm, crispy fries are an essential component of any enjoyable meal, and this oversight diminished my overall experience.Furthermore, I noticed that the menu had undergone changes since my last visit. While variety is typically appreciated, I was disappointed to find that all the lamb dishes were now mixed with beef. This change posed a problem for individuals like myself who have religious dietary restrictions against consuming beef. It's a shame that the restaurant did not consider maintaining standalone lamb or goat options like most gyro places do.Despite these setbacks, I must acknowledge the positive aspects of my visit. The restaurant still boasts a pleasant atmosphere, and the location remains superb. Additionally, our server Jackie provided attentive service without being intrusive, which was appreciated. However, considering the decline in food quality and the limited menu options for those with dietary restrictions, I will likely explore other dining options on my next visit to Ocean Springs. While Glory Bound Gyro Co. is still a decent place to dine, it no longer lives up to the exceptional experience I had previously.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Ocean Springs can be a tricky place to find parking, as few places have their own lot and the street parking fills up quickly and for most of the day.Dietary restrictions: While there are vegetarian options, the mixing of beef with their lamb options presents issues for those with religious dietary restrictions.
We came here on Tuesdays for the 7$ gyros! The food was so good! They have live music playing that starts at 7 I believe.Food: 5/5
Highly recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is so chill and the waiters were so nice. The food was so fresh and everything tasted so good! I highly recommend trying the cajun hummus (for a bit of spice) and the falafel! They give you a decent portion and also offer a military discount!
By far one of the best gyro and Greek salads I’ve ever had. (That’s saying a lot coming from a Greek gal! Food was amazing! Great beer selection. Wait staff was friendly and went above and beyond! We also tried the pizza and it was delicious as well but the gyros are the star here!
