Jake's Over the Top - Ogden

Sucks to hear this place finally closed down. I loved all their milkshakes and ordered the pineapple dole whip 80% I come here and then going to walk around Weber State University.

We are sorry to hear that this place is closing. This is a huge staple and landmark for great burgers and shakes. We wanted to thank the owners for a great 30 years and we will always remember this place in our hearts.

The employees are so fun and playful and kind, they really make me feel at home. It would be so much more boring if they weren't the amazing, funny, and spirited teenagers they are. If the employees could no longer be having fun at work, the food isn't good enough to warrant the price, so I would go somewhere else. But because they keep the job fun, the teenagers stay on for less pay than they're worth and employees and customers alike have fun. Remember to listen to the customers that come 3 times a week, not the ones who are mad that they are busy. The service is amazing, even when they are super busy. The food is good and they work really hard. It would be a shame for the employees to quit if Jake's became a boring, underpaying, overcharging workplace.
