The gorgeous view is what keeps this restaurant afloat. Clam chowder is just okay, the lobster bisque was really tasty. I ordered the ricotta salad and it was overpowered by this mustard seed dressing , I topped it with lobster meat. I kept having topull pieces of the shell out of my mouth. My kid got a burger and fries, the fries were so white I wonder how they cooked them.Fish and chips were flavorless. Not long after we left, we all had very upset stomachs. Won't be returning
Must stop whenever at perkins cove. Only place that sells french fries!!! Good when traveling with kids! Rum punch is the best and lobster grilled cheese hit the spot! Yummmm
My friends and I were seated in a beautiful area of the restaurant that was close to where the tide comes in. I?ve never experienced anything like it. Never have I been close to the water, feeling completely comfortable, not too windy, cold, or thata seagull was going to rob me of my food. The ambiance was perfect as there was a tent like structure over us shielding us fromtoo much sun and wispy curtains keeping back much of the wind. I got a seafood pasta dish which was delicious, perfectly cooked, rich and creamy and a good enough portion I had dinner for when I went home. A must go if you want to take in Maine.
Wonderful place. At my surprise we were seated as we arrived on a busy day. Our waitress Rhiannon was really nice. The service was super fast we never waited for anything and she was really caring with a smile. Best waitress in the Maine so far. The foodwas also really good (goat cheese salad and baked stuffed haddock) with a very reasonable price for the location andportions. Definitely recommand!
