Avaliação da contribuiçãoPopped in for a quick bite to eat, we weren’t disappointed. The chicken and eggplant pie was so tasty, pastry was light and flaky and there was loads of filling. The apple accompaniment was super delicious too. The beef ragu pie hit the spot and was perfect to warm me up on the cool day. The passionfruit filled donut with the toffee glaze was absolutely amazing, smooth custard full of tang. So many sweet treat options to choose. Pizzas looked good to. Perfect for a quick bite or a take away treat.
Very excited to have Abbots and Kinney in my neighborhood now rather than having to get my fix in the CBD. Also pleased that the former Red Door Bakery site is still churning out delicious breads, pies and baked goods. I grabbed a loaf of Olive, sweet potato and pumpkin bread it was delicious by itself but paired with good butter we couldn't help but demolish the loaf.
Queen (really Elizabeth St is my local hangout, and I was very sad to see Rad Door go. They might not be aware, but Abbots and Kinney (Croydon are filling big shoes. Having been in numberless times for a quick before work coffee and croissant or seeded bagel (just lovely , I must say that they’re doing a great job being the new kid on the block : The fit out, in keeping with Abbots and Kinney is modern, fresh and minimalistic. Staff are friendly, and coffee is nice. My main criticism are the coffee cups they need a medium sized coffee cup. At this stage, I’d give them 3.5, and will be back!
Such a cute spot for a pastry and coffee! Loved the beef massaman curry pie and almond croissant. Ops Manager Emma was just lovely and told us to be there early so we could see the full range of sweet wonders. They even had a Valentine's Day display with lots of gift options for that special someone.
My forever favourite go-to coffee pastry place. Nothing beats Abbots Kinney
