Hakane Sushi - OJAI

My wife and I both had a great experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Tataki and Aloha rolls, which were delicious. I also tried some salmon and tuna nigiri, which were amazing. My wife, who is vegan, enjoyed the Inari nigiri and vegetable gozen dish. The food overall was excellent. However, I did have to deduct a star for the service. It seemed like they were understaffed and the servers and busboys were not communicating well. Despite that, we had a good overall experience and even went back a second time.

One of the best sushi places I have been too. My Fiance and I drive out to Ojai just for this place. a must try if you're in the area!

I have tried many different caterpillar rolls in my life, but the one at Hakane is the best by far! The edamame is cooked perfectly and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere at the restaurant is peaceful and relaxing, and the portion sizes are just right. In my opinion, Hakane is the best sushi restaurant in the city. As a resident of Ojai, I only trust Hakane for my sushi cravings.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant. The sushi was the best I've had in a long time, everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The house salad was crisp and fresh, and the ginger dressing was sweet and tasty. Even the soup was surprisingly savory and I couldn't help but finish the entire bowl. The sushi and sashimi were also incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience perfect.
