Very good pizza, lovely fresh tomato salad, good coffee, nice owner.

The dishes are good, but the wait is long that day....45 minutes for 2 pasta dishes...the water ordered at the start of the meal took 20 minutes to arrive even though there was only 6 customers... The room is clean and nicely decorated There is still room for improvement in the service....

In addition to the Rstorante, Al Pez also offers two rooms (2 4 people) for overnight stays. The owner is very friendly and helpful, but apart from Italian he only understands limited English. The Al Pez is ideal for an overnight stay on the day of arrival or the day before the flight home due to its proximity to the airport. It's about 5 minutes by (rental) car, and there are several bus lines nearby (ticket 1.50). The taxi ride to the airport costs around 20 euros. The rooms are modernly furnished and have a TV, closet and a spacious bathroom with an almost level shower. The road has little traffic, so it is very quiet at night. The Ristorante is open in the evening until around 9 p.m., the owner cooks himself (so it can take a while). The pizzas in particular are highly recommended (price 10 euros completely ok). For breakfast there are all kinds of coffee variations to choose from, as well as various juices, crossaints, Italian salami ham mortadella and various types of cheese. Yoghurt, muesli and the typical variety of pastries and cakes round off the buffet. In the event of a very early return flight, the owner will also organize an earlier breakfast (otherwise from around 7:30). If, contrary to expectations, no one is to be found upon arrival, we recommend a quick call or email. In our case, the owner was there within 2 minutes. We have already been guests twice and will definitely come back when the opportunity arises!!!

We ate the pizza on the return from the holidays before boarding the ferry. A nice environment, the delicious pizza and you spend right. We ordered fried potatoes and they brought us fried fresh potatoes like those homemade fairies. I recommend it
