Pizza Works - Old Saybrook

Very funny place with Vibe station that makes it special. Service was friendly and fast. Pies were well presented and good flavors. Will be back.

This is a good pizza place with many special pies and brick oven style. I liked the Thai and the pepperoni I got.

The selection of pizzas is diverse and all options are delicious. Never had a bad pizza. Amazing crust: never greasy, always crunchy outside, chew inside. You have to try the Gorgonzola salad, the best salad anywhere. This place is a gem, definitely underestimated. It's up there with the BEST New Haven Pizza Fugen. And if you don't have a fan of drops with oil, soggy pizza crust, that's your place!

The food is good, but the service is terrible. We picked up pizza tonight. We said when we came in that we were early. The hostess was polite, but the next girl came up and told me that we were early and it would not be ready until the time indicated. I said politely, I have no problem with it, I said we were early when we got in. She continued to storm and then a young guy came out and told me that the pizza was not ready, and we had to go and wait in our car because we were too early. When we finally got the pizza, he said very sniffing, I'm sorry for your waiting. I told him waiting wasn't the problem, but his attitude was and he tied up and said I'm sorry for your waiting. That's what they call an apology. It's not the first time we had problems. Every time we order for delivery, it is at least 30 minutes late. I'm done. I gave them chances of chances. I'm done.

Best pizza in Old Saybrook. They also did a bulk order for our wedding afterparty. Everything arrived hot, on time, and exactly as we had hoped. Totally recommend for eat in, take out or catering larger events. Pizzas are closer to personal size, but definitely worth the price.
