Tj's And Pizza - Old Saybrook

Here for lunch. I'll go back when in the area. Very popular.

I love this place. My friend and I order everything we want and have leftovers all week. We had a large pizza with eggplant. Ravolie and spagettie with meatbals. The Italian dishes and the pizza, especially the eggplant pizza are delicious. It's always busy when we go but the wait is short and worth it. Not sure about reservations but my guess is no. Not sure about alcohol served. Clean, staff pleasant and fast. Parking lot is small but we never have a problem.

I have to say the Sammies are ugly. Wonderful selection also, very hard to choose what to get, but everything was so great I try something new every time. Also, great thanks for venting the removal containers so that the frits are not soggy.

Set up a telephone order for pickup and found on my arrival that the order was never placed by the employee into the kitchen staff. However, Nick, after hearing the story immediately placed the order and made it right. Upon arrival home opened the bag we found Cannolis included in a polyfoam with a note saying sad for waiting. The food was great, as well as the Cannoli.
